Raised on Sanibel Island and a 3rd generation stylist at Sanibel Beauty Salon, I am no stranger to the hair industry. Specializing in multidimensional coloring and chemical smoothing, I strive to be at the top in my field. While growing up in my families salon as a small child I've always had a interest in cosmetology. I loved the way something like a fresh cut and color can make a person feel. I obtained my braiding license at the age of 14 and didn't look back from there. At the age of 18 after graduating high school with special recognition in fine arts and community service with special populations, teaching arts and crafts to children with developmental disabilities. I immediately enrolled in cosmetology school and completed the program at an excelled rate and was licensed in the early months of 2007. I Graduated with a award for advanced achievement in dimensional and multidimensional color! I've trained with a large variety of products and color companies, including Redken, Paul Mitchell, vivitone, pravana, scruples, wella, Joico and Matrix. I've always had a eye for color and and passion for the arts. I think that's why I really enjoy doing hair so much, getting to create something beautiful with colors, angles and textures. When you do something you really love you never have to work another day in your life.
In addition, I'm certified in the top 4 global smoothing companies, (Pravana perfection, keratin complex, Brazilian Blowout and my new favorite überliss). On top of all the complicated chemical work.
I do blowdry and customized haircuts on Men Woman and Children, Makeup (bridal or special event), ear piercing, natural manicures, pedicures and nail art, waxing, eyebrow tinting and shaping, perms, sets, braiding, wraps, feather links. You name it I probably do it. Please feel free to come meet me or ask any questions you might have. I look forward to seeing you!
